Supply chain security has become a critical concern in 2025 following a series of recent cyber incidents affecting major manufacturers and their extended supply networks.

As part of the West Midlands Business Festival, Midlands Cyber is hosting a free, in-person session focused on helping local SMEs better understand the support available across the region for cyber, IT, and technology decisions.

During the event, Ryan Protheroe, Cluster Manager at Midlands Cyber, will be delivering a dedicated session outlining:

  • The support available locally for SMEs across cyber, IT, and digital transformation
  • Who businesses should be engaging with across their IT and technology portfolio
  • How to navigate suppliers, providers, and specialist support
  • Where to go for trusted advice when growing, scaling, or responding to customer requirements

Many SMEs are unsure where responsibility sits between IT, cyber security, managed service providers, and specialist technology partners. This session is designed to help businesses better understand the landscape and make informed decisions that support long-term resilience.
